Security Violation Temporarily Destroyed Every Video on This Site
It took less than 24 hours to restore everything that was taken down by someone who was able to violate our security and remove every video we had embedded in the site. However, we had a backup procedure in place that made restoration possible within a matter of hours. We actually spent more time working on plugging security holes than restoring content.
I would like to think whoever made this attack on our site did so for political reasons. This would make me think we were doing something right and perhaps making a difference in this world, but it is far more likely it was only a prankster wanting to demonstrate their skills. I encourage him/her to find a more productive way of demonstrating their skills than destroying my website in the future.
