This process of custom fabrication has been going on since World War !! and began with the process of using salvage jeeps partially destroyed in battles to build multi-passenger vehicles for public transportation.
No two Jeepneys are alike. Here is a look inside a shop where a Jeepney is being fabricated. A Jeepney often takes one to two months to complete.
