This morning around 7:00 AM I hit the publish button to place the story I had been working on where everyone cold see it.  This story was different than any other I have published here because it had four videos embedded in it.  I felt each one was necessary to tell the tale of Rick Nelson who was killed in a plane crash near Dallas 24 years ago Thursday. 

When I tested the newly published story and hit the play button on video #1 all four videos responded at once which created mass chaos, especially when one of them was Rick Nelson's two sons who are in the video below and tend to be louder than their father and even headline news.

I contacted someone at Go Daddy tech support who instructed me to cut back on the number of videos I had embedded in the story. 

I told him if next time his kids were all making noise at once he was going to need to cut back on the number of kids he had had and the man on the phone laughed and informed me he wasn't married.

He said he would "escalate" the problem to a higher department which I assumed meant someone with more than people and sales skills.  I have now received an email back telling me they think the problem is resolved, but still suggesting I try to not use four videos in one blog.

I discovered my story was not complete.  The chaos created when I hit the play button added another dimension to the story I had written which deals a lot with Rick Nelson's Garden Party and my own "chaos" of getting too many things going at once was a big part of that story I had missed and I was glad to see I could improve on it.

Also in order to cut back to only three videos I decided to pull the fourth video and share it today.  Some of you may not care for it because it is not the sound of Rick Nelson . . . not even close . . . although these two young Nelsons have played some tributes to their father over the years and done him proud.  They were hair farmers deluxe in the late nineties, but today two of the cleanest cut young men you will ever see. They certainly put me to shame.

But I liked their sound of the 90's very much and some of you like Cindy down in Austin will also.  Ironically, they had their own "Garden Party".  They hit the rock scene with a White Snake or Metallica look and went the other direction and cut their hair and went through a bit of what their father went through in reverse.  You will see this at about the 2:45 mark in this video (if you make it that far).

Some may say "David, what are you thinking putting that noise on here?" but others will appreciate it.  I don't think anyone, however, can deny the legendary importance the Nelson family has had on the entertainment industry and to ignore these to brothers who are grandsons of Ozzie and Harriet Nelson, would be "not thinking at all".  After all, Ozzie Nelson produced what was probably the first "reality" show that for ten years was the number one television show in America.

So until I finish my story about Rick Nelson (either Monday or Tuesday) and our "Garden Party" here are his two sons, simply known as Nelson.
